With the national strategy of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", my country's iron and steel industry will face new transformation and development goals and tasks. At present, many domestic iron and steel enterprises have proposed timetables and tasks to achieve the "dual carbon" goal. route map. As the process link with the largest carbon consumption and emissions in the steel industry, ironmaking has a long way to go and is of great significance to achieve the "dual carbon" goal. In this context, it is very important to realize the green, orderly and high-quality transformation and development of the iron-making process and to promote the entire steel industry to achieve the "dual-carbon" goal.

In order to further discuss important issues such as the adjustment of the development direction of my country's ironmaking industry, the optimization of process routes, and the application of new technologies and equipment under the "dual carbon" target conditions, it is necessary to connect with the national "dual carbon" strategy and guide the strategic transformation of my country's ironmaking industry. And green development, the Chinese Society for Metals will hold the 2022 (4th) National Ironmaking Director Technical Symposium. The conference is scheduled for April 19-22, 2022 in Rizhao, Shandong.

The meeting schedule is as follows:

1. Summarize the ironmaking production operation and technological innovation of each unit in 2021 (see Annex 2: Outline of Exchange Materials for details).

2. Discussions on various issues related to the realization of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", new ideas, new technologies, and new equipment for low-carbon ironmaking.

3. Discussion on common issues in ironmaking production. Including: safety maintenance and longevity of blast furnace hearth; application of refractory materials and cooling staves; technical measures to improve blast furnace technical and economic indicators and long-term stable and forward-running technical measures; related measures for energy conservation, emission reduction, ultra-low emission, and emission standards; pig iron cost optimization control technology methods; the application of cutting-edge technologies in ironmaking; the development direction of green ironmaking and other related issues.
